Last Wednsday night (Dec 10) was our 2nd 8th grade night. It was a fun night and the 8th graders really got into. Unfortunitly I wasn't able to be in for some of the night so I didn't catch all the different things that happened. Here is some key points of the night:
Lesson Topic: Run with a Purpose
Attendance: Average
'Fun Factor': Below Average - I had the kids play a silly Christmas activity that didn't have a purpose or tye with the lesson
Volunteer Involvement: Average - lot of the sponsors couldn't make it that night
Music: Average - It was a good worship set but I didn't get a chance to be a part of much of it
Lesson Quality: Well done - the girls did a great job
Length of Lesson: 20 min
Student Response: Good - kids were responsive but a little quite for the night
Favorite statement of the night: There is a prize that is worth winning. It isn't easy. But it is worth the effort.
